About The Fashion School

Hi, I’m Rhonda Elliott and I run The Fashion School in Canberra.

I have been sewing since I was very young and pattern making for 30 years. I’m inspired by high-end fashion designers, couture clothing and a desire to have perfectly fitting clothes made from beautiful fabrics.

I’ve studied a wide range of pattern making methods in my never-ending quest to find the method which would best help me, and others, to achieve the desired result in the shortest possible time.

I have trained in both Australia and overseas, including for four years at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology at the State University of New York. I have attained professional standing through the Centro Internazionale Alta Moda Sartoriale (CIAMS), Italy.
